about Passing on Light

I have found the light, or better the light has found me. In many ways throughout my life the light was my loyal companion since I started my Judo path at the age of 8. It showed me pain and great pleasure. It made me climb the highest mountains and it made me fall into the deepest rivers. But also in the darkest times it was always there shining irresistible.

My body was not designed to hold still I thought for the first 25 years of my live, but through injuries , Yoga, Qi gong and meditation the light showed me that the real power comes from finding the stillness within. Finding the sweet spot where the outside and the inside merge into one peaceful breath that leaves no doubt that there is a special place just for you in this universe.

The Masters and Senseis of the Reiki-Traditon had a name for me, a name for the light that is radiating through my body eversince and I am now able to channel and pass on with my hands. In Reverence to all my teachers in life, I feel blessed to pass this light on to you in the tradition where I am allowed to call myself an everlasting student with a Reiki master degree.  â€‹â€‹

My Approach

I’ve learned from many disciplines.. I also hold a academic Master’s degree and wrote my thesis on the psychosomatic connections in migraines. From there, I went deeper down the rabbit hole..

Over the years, I explored a wide range of practices: like Buddhist meditation, various styles of yoga (Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Anusara), and multiple forms of Qi Gong (such as Chan Mi Gong and Fan Teng Gong). I was particularly touched and influenced by somatic approaches like Rolfing and Craniosacral Therapy — methods that work directly with the body to unlock deeper emotional and energetic layers.

These practices deepened my understanding of the body as a gateway to emotional and energetic healing.

Reiki became a central thread in this tapestry. I feel grateful to have received attunements from teachers rooted in traditional lineages. My Level I & II attunements connect back to William Lee Rand and Hyakuten Inamoto, while my Master lineage traces through Hawayo Takata, who first brought Reiki to the West. In 2024, I was re-attuned into Shoden by Frank Arjava Petter, in the Jikiden Reiki tradition — This lineage carries a direct thread back to the source: its current president is the son of Chiyoko Yamaguchi, who was personally trained by Chujiro Hayashi — one of the original students of Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki.
